The head of state made a trip to meet with defense personnel in the Pokrovsk area on Tuesday. He stated that he met with fighters at the military base of the first unit of the Ukrainian National Guard Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya sector, a location approximately 20km from the focal point.

Critical Circumstances in the Area

Recent mapping from a national effort showed that Russian forces had made gains into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though much of it remained beyond firm control by either side. The situation remains critical, with updates indicating that invading units were fortifying positions and enhancing fortifications in some districts.

Opposition armies are pushing forward in the Pokrovsk front and are reportedly acting with growing ease within the city proper.

Research institutes observed that Ukrainian forces had freed a large area of a Russian penetration in the Dobropillya direction, on the east side of the Pokrovsk operation.

Kyiv's Long-Range Assaults Deep Inside Russia

National unmanned aircraft attacked an industrial plant approximately a considerable distance inside Russian territory at the location. City administration announced a detonation at the Sterlitamak facility that caused its water treatment facility to be compromised, adding that the cause of the explosion was not known. The national defense command stated there was extensive harm to the facility.

Ukrainian Leader's Requests for International Support

The national leader urged the US to remain open to delivering to the nation with long-range weapons. Addressing a European Union summit from the eastern front, the Ukrainian president also called for more international restrictions on the federation – including on fuel and power segments – and said he wanted Ukraine to join the EU prior to the next decade.

International Aid and Diplomatic Changes

The European nation plans to increase defense support to Ukraine by three billion euros next year to about 11.5 billion euros, the treasury department in Berlin said on Tuesday.
